The Fire Gryphon - Chapter One

For the holiday, I am uploading the first chapter of the novel I am revising:  The Fire Gryphon.  I expect to be finished with revisions in a couple of months, and I hope - sooner.  This first chapter, however, is close to what I'd like.

It is the story of a marvelous Fire Gryphon and his master, a young, self-taught Conjurer, and their adventures with newfound friends aboard a great, magickal Terrapin, a living vessel who transports them all on a great journey to save the shining White City.
